How this press is built

Our Blockboard Hydraulic Press production unit combines 494 Ton of rigid 4-column clamping force with specialized hydraulic circuitry designed for heavy-duty pine/hardwood blockboards in dimensions up to Standard 8' × 4' up to 13' × 4' multi-daylight panel envelope. The primary cylinder executes multi-stage compaction: fast ram approach, precision powder pre-compaction, and a sustained dwell phase of 138 seconds to bleed out microscopic air pockets. Following compaction, smooth electronic decompression takes place over 3–5 seconds before lower knock-out pins elevate the green preform for automated pickup.

Material behaviour under compaction

The machine mechanics are tailored for processing timber veneers, core sheets, resin-glued wood plies & laminates compounds containing specialized fillers. Balanced hydraulic force delivery ensures homogeneous filler distribution, eliminating density gradients that cause component warpage in subsequent sintering cycles.

Tooling and die design

Reinforced bolster plates accommodate both single-cavity and multi-cavity dies for heavy-duty pine/hardwood blockboards. Cavity surfaces are diamond-buffed to high luster, ensuring that green preforms release cleanly without scoring or surface roughness.
