Scope and process

Materials we work with

Manifolded cylinders, swing and pull clamps, with sequence and pressure set on the power unit. Body material is chosen for the duty — tool steel where wear or heat is the issue, aluminium where the fixture must be lifted by hand.

Tooling support

Locates conventionally; clamping is by cylinder rather than by hand.

Choosing the right option

When requesting a proposal for hydraulic fixtures, please provide component 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES), 2D part drawings indicating critical datums, machine table specifications (T-slot pitch, pallet size), and target cycle time. Quotes with 3D concept layouts are issued within 24 hours.

Quality checks and inspection

On a fixture the check that matters is clamp force setting, sequence order, and that the part is located before pressure is applied. Dimensions are verified on CMM against the fixture drawing before despatch.

Commissioning and handover

Handed over with the power unit set to the clamping pressure and sequence agreed for your part.

Export packing and lead time

Ships with the manifold plumbed and the cylinders set, ready to connect to shop air or hydraulics. HEMSUN is a DGFT IEC registered exporter (Government of India); commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin accompany international despatch.

Maintenance and spare parts

Cylinder seals and hoses are the maintenance items; check clamp force against the set pressure periodically.
