Manufacturing process
HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES produces Virgin PTFE using matched punch-and-die compaction of PTFE fluoropolymer resins. Green preforms are sintered in digital PID-controlled ovens with multi-point thermocouple logging, followed by precision CNC lathe turning to achieve micron-level concentricity and smooth surface finishes.

Material properties for Virgin PTFE (PTFE fluoropolymer): Total chemical inertness across pH 0–14, continuous thermal resistance from -200°C to +260°C (-328°F to +500°F), and an ultra-low dynamic coefficient of friction (0.05 to 0.10). For heavy-duty mechanical service, we offer filled formulations with glass fiber (15–25%), carbon graphite (15–33%), or bronze powder (40–60%) to resist compressive creep and abrasive wear.
