How this press is built

The Plywood Pre Press (configured under build tag HSE-712) is engineered at our Dahegam manufacturing facility for precision forming of pre-pressed plywood veneer stacks within a Standard 8' × 4' up to 13' × 4' multi-daylight panel envelope work envelope. Operating at a calibrated pressing force of 699 Ton, the hydraulic manifold incorporates a variable-displacement piston pump paired with proportional pressure modulation to govern rapid downward approach (up to 120 mm/s), smooth final compaction (5–12 mm/s), and a controlled pressure hold of 55 seconds under full tonnage. Stepped hydraulic decompression avoids sudden fluid shock, preventing internal cleavage lines from developing within fragile green compacts before lower-cylinder soft ejection occurs.

Material behaviour under compaction

The press frame and stroke geometry are specifically matched to timber veneers, core sheets, resin-glued wood plies & laminates characteristics, accommodating loose powder volumetric compression up to 4:1. High structural rigidity minimizes frame flexing under full load, preventing density variations that could otherwise cause out-of-round distortion during high-temperature coalescing.

Tooling and die design

The press table is engineered for rapid die clamping with reinforced bolster plates. In-house manufactured punch and die sets for pre-pressed plywood veneer stacks utilize through-hardened tool steel with micro-honed surfaces to eliminate wall drag during ejection.

Export packing and lead time

Manufactured to global standards, the machine is configured for international industrial electrical standards (415V/50Hz). Protective barrier wrapping and heavy seaworthy wooden boxing protect equipment during export shipping from Gujarat.

Maintenance and spare parts

The press features low-maintenance engineering with easily accessible filter elements, centralized lubrication lines, and standard industrial valves. Spare parts and seal kits ship directly from our works.
